After School

After School

We are excited to announce that our After School Planet Earth 2024 program, operating from 1:00 PM to 5:30 PM, has been a success and it is ready to welcome your children in 2025.

Our program is thoughtfully designed to promote the development of skills, attitudes, and knowledge through playful activities. We focus on fostering awareness and appreciation for exploring and caring for our natural environment, providing positive, stimulating, and enriching experiences in a safe setting.

We have a dedicated and professional team that includes:

  • Two Early Childhood Educators per group, who guide and support the children in all activities.
  • A Learning Assistant, responsible for providing additional support to ensure each child receives the attention they need.
  • The Director of the Early Years Cycle and After School Coordinator, who knows the students and oversees the program to ensure its quality and effectiveness.

We are excited to start this new chapter and have your children with us. Here’s to a year filled with learning and fun!

¡Esperamos un año lleno de aprendizaje y diversión!

Learning Experiences

Storytelling

Encourages imagination, and develops both receptive and expressive language. Through stories, children learn about emotions, values, and relevant themes. It also stimulates creativity and strengthens comprehension and a love for reading.

Fun Science

Through playful experiments, children learn basic science concepts in an engaging and accessible way. This sparks their curiosity and promotes critical thinking.

Music

Supports cognitive, emotional, and motor development. It stimulates creativity and expression, reinforcing skills such as language and memory, while providing a fun learning environment.

Entertaining Dance

Stimulates coordination, creativity, and self-confidence. It offers a fun way to express emotions and encourages physical activity.

Colorful Imagination

Encourages creativity and artistic expression. It allows children to explore ideas and emotions through color and art, enriching their emotional and cognitive development.

Role Play

Allows children to explore different perspectives, enhance their imagination, and learn social skills. It fosters creativity and helps them better understand the world around them.

Seeds and Flora

Connects children with nature and stimulates curiosity. It encourages observation and learning about plant growth, while developing responsibility and appreciation for the environment from a young age.

Social Skills

These experiences strengthen empathy, communication, and cooperation, preparing children to resolve conflicts and build positive relationships in their social environments.

Math Challenges

Stimulate logical thinking and problem-solving. They promote skills like concentration and numerical reasoning, while building confidence in their ability to tackle challenges and enjoy learning.

Graphomotor Skills

Develop fine motor coordination and prepare for writing. This strengthens hand movement control and promotes precision, while improving concentration.

Ongoing Routines and Activities

Using the Bathroom

Teaching children to use the bathroom independently is crucial for developing their autonomy, motor skills, personal responsibility, and boosting their social confidence in environments outside the home.

Washing Hands

Inculcating the habit of washing hands from a young age teaches important hygiene practices, reducing the risk of infections. This routine fosters responsibility and lays the groundwork for healthy habits in the future.

Brushing Teeth

Establishing this habit early helps care for their baby teeth and sets the stage for healthy permanent teeth. It also promotes responsibility and creates a hygiene routine that will benefit their dental health long-term.

Lunch and Snacks

Incorporating healthy lunches and snacks into children’s diets is essential for their growth and development. These habits ensure they receive necessary nutrients and foster a positive relationship with food, establishing a foundation for a healthy life.

Corner Play

Corner play is key for Early Years School children as it stimulates their cognitive, social, and emotional development. It allows them to explore interests, make decisions, and enhance their autonomy while interacting and learning with other children in a structured environment.

Traditional Games

These games encourage socialization and the development of motor skills. Through participation, children learn about teamwork, rules, and respect, while stimulating creativity and providing a fun way to connect with peers.
