Life Competencies

At Colegio Pedro de Valdivia Providencia, we propose an educational approach that responds to the needs of society nowadays. In this context we develop in our students essential life competencies known as the "Five Keys of ISP”. The aim of this program is to ensure our students' personal growth in a balanced way and prepare them for success. These competencies are organized into five key areas: interpersonal, self-leadership, cognitive, global, and digital.

The development of these competencies, aligned with our “Be Kind” principle, takes place through meaningful learning experiences and activities that promote well-rounded growth. To support this, the school has carefully included these life competencies in the curriculum, so that they can be taught, learned, and assessed at every stage of the student’s journey.

Our objective is for students, families, and the entire school community to truly understand these competencies and see how they align with the kind of students we’re aiming to shape. It's important that everyone is on the same page to actively support students in mastering these key competencies as they grow and thrive.
