Family involvement in the school community is a key factor in students' educational success. Collaboration and commitment between families and the school are essential for creating an enriching and stimulating learning environment. It’s crucial that both families and the educational institution share the values and principles of the educational project, as this improves a coherent and consistent atmosphere that supports the holistic development of students.
By strengthening the ties between home and school, we establish a relationship of trust and mutual support that significantly contributes to the emotional and academic well-being of students. When families, teachers, administrators, and educational assistants work together as active and positive agents in building the school community, an inclusive and supportive environment is created that promotes respect and tolerance. Collaborative efforts enrich the educational process for all members of the Valdivian school community.
Uniforms
Playgroup, Pre-kínder y Kínder:
Physical Education: Tracksuit and T-shirt
Boys: Smock
Girls: Apron
Outerwear: Institutional vest and jacket or navy blue parka
Footwear: White sneakers and laces
Hair: Boys should have short, neatly styled hair.
Girls should have clean, styled hair.
Other Items:
Additional clothing such as scarves, hats, and gloves must be made of wool or fleece in institutional colors. All uniform items should be labeled with the student’s name and class.
1st to 4th Grade:

Otros: Vestimentas complementarias al uniforme tanto para alumnos y alumnas tales como cuellos, bufandas, gorros y guantes deben ser de lana o polar de color institucional. Las prendas del uniforme deben estar marcadas con nombre y curso.
5th to 8th Grade:
Girls:
Uniform: White blouse and skirt
Footwear: Black shoes, gray tights and/or leggings
Outerwear: Institutional vest and jacket or navy blue parka
Hair: Clean, natural color, neatly styled, with no facial coverage. Only simple, formal hair accessories are allowed.
Optional: From May to September, grey fabric trousers can replace the skirt.
Sportswear: Limited to Physical Education classes and extracurricular activities.
Boys:
Uniform: White shirt, institutional vest and jacket or navy blue parka, traditional gray trousers, black shoes, gray or black socks.
Accessories: Only dark, simple belts are permitted.
Hair: Short, clean, and neatly styled; hair dye is not allowed.
Facial Hair: Must be shaved if applicable.
Sportswear: Same rules as for girls.
Other Items:
Similar additional clothing rules apply, with all items needing to be labeled. No makeup, nail polish, bracelets, necklaces, piercings, or large visible tattoos are allowed; any large tattoos must be covered by the uniform.
I a IV medio
Girls:
Polera blanca y falda institucional, zapatos negros, calcetas y/o pantys de color gris, chaleco y casaca institucionales o parka de color azul marino. Pueden usar como opcional a la falda de Colegio, pantalón gris de tela, de corte y bastilla tradicional durante los meses de mayo a septiembre. Conservar su cabello limpio, peinado y ordenado (manteniendo el rostro completamente descubierto), solo se permitirá el uso de cintillos, trabas y pinches de diseños formales y colores sobrios. El Colegio no autoriza la tintura de cabello. Respecto al uso de accesorios, solo se acepta el uso de aros pequeños y discretos. El buzo deportivo se limitará al uso de clases de Educación Física y actividades deportivas (en los horarios que no le correspondan a la clase de Educación Física, el buzo deportivo solo se podrá utilizar con autorización de la dirección de Ciclo).
Boys:
Polera blanca, chaleco y casaca institucionales o parka de color azul marino, pantalón gris corte tradicional, zapatos negros, calcetines grises o negros. En cuanto a los pantalones, solo se permite el uso de cinturones de vestir oscuro y liso, de ancho y hebillas formales y discretas. Rostro debidamente rasurado (si corresponde a su edad) y cabello corto con volumen reducido, con corte tradicional, limpio, peinado y ordenado. El Colegio no autoriza la tintura de cabello. El buzo deportivo se limitará al uso de clases de Educación Física y actividades deportivas (en los horarios que no le correspondan a la clase de Educación Física, el buzo deportivo solo se podrá utilizar con autorización de la dirección de Ciclo).
